Celebrate the history and culture of the Inland Empire at the annual Inland Empire Archives Fair, hosted by UCR Special Collections & University Archives, and held each October in honor of American Archives Month. Under the arches of the Tomás Rivera Library, explore hands-on archives, facsimiles, and objects from UCR Special Collections & University Archives, meet community partners working to preserve IE history, and hear from students about how they use primary sources in their research and creative work. Pick up a free limited-edition sticker featuring the winning design from the 2026 UCR Library Sticker Competition, along with a zine showcasing student submissions, while supplies last! Tours of UCR Special Collections run at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Meet at the Special Collections table 10 minutes before each tour. Free and open to all, no RSVP needed. Free parking is available in Lot 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please register for parking at this link. Lot 13 is about a 10-minute walk to the Rivera Arches.
