Join the Office of Equal Opportunity and Institutional Equity for an inspiring fireside chat with Michelle Linn, Bentley alumna, survivor advocate, public relations executive, and member of the
Massachusetts Governor's Council to Address Sexual Assault.
Forty years ago, Michelle survived a sexual assault perpetrated by a serial offender. Through extraordinary courage and partnership with law enforcement, her identification of the assailant led to his arrest and helped bring justice for multiple survivors. Today, she uses her experience to raise awareness about sexual violence and foster conversations about reporting, healing, resilience, and survivor support.
Michelle will share her personal journey and explore how individuals, communities, and institutions can create environments that support survivors and promote equity. Attendees will gain insight into the power of storytelling, survivor-centered approaches, and the role we all play in building safer and more inclusive communities.
