NUMEN : Figures of the Creative Act

NUMENFigures of the Creative ActA solo exhibition by Amin Bidar

Join us at PR55 for the opening of NUMEN, the first Berlin exhibition of Paris-based visual artist Amin Bidar.

Co-curated by the artist and PR55, the exhibition brings together previously unseen sculptures and drawings. Shaped by Christian, Sufi and Celtic traditions, Bidar’s practice explores incarnation, reincarnation and the renewing energy of artistic creation.

As visitors move around his translucent figures, light and reflections shift, bringing their own image into dialogue with the sculpted body. NUMEN invites us to discover these works up close, meet the artist and hear him introduce his practice.
