48 Hours Film X AI FILMHACK

Please notice, that we only have 100 spots and that registering and applying to the event does NOT guarantee a spot. We are curating the participants, so we have a good mix of AI and classic Filmmakers. In the beginning of November will send a confirmation email to the selected participants.

AI is changing how films get made. Most people are still watching from the sidelines. Not you not this weekend!

The AI Movie Sprint is a 48-hour, in-person filmmaking challenge: up to 100 creators, 20+ teams, pitch to premiere in one weekend. Friday is hands-on workshops across the full AI pipeline: concept, image, motion, voice & sound, edit. Then the clock starts: you form a crew, pitch, and build a real short film with your team. Sunday night, it premieres on the big screen at a cinema screening with awards.

The weekend:

Sat, Nov 8 Pre-event workshop: filmmaking & AI basics, meet the group

Fri, Nov 13 Connect & Go: registration, workshops, pitches, crews form, 48h clock starts

Sat, Nov 14 Build & Push: full day of production and editing

Sun, Nov 15 Finish & Premiere: submission deadline, cinema screening, awards

The screening from our last "Classic Film Challenge: Movie Sprint".

💶 Entrance is free. Applications are open now!

Who this is for:Aspiring and active filmmakers who want practical AI skills. Creatives exploring how AI fits real production. Experienced AI creators who want a real challenge. Writers who want their story on screen in two days. If you come as a creator, AI experience is definitely needed. You want to leanr? That's what our Meetups, Labs and the Friday's workshops are for.

What you walk away with:A finished short film, premiered in a cinema in front of a full house. A real AI production workflow you can run again on Monday. Working directors and AI specialists in your corner all weekend. A crew of people who make things, not just talk about making things.

The one rule: you're in for the full sprint! Teams depend on each other. A half-committed teammate breaks a film.

Spots are limited and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Earlier is better. You can also apply here.
