Join us for an evening on what it takes to build AI for the real world, with a fireside chat between Dennis Crowley, Co-Founder and CEO, Hopscotch Labs, and Jeff Smith, Head of Product, AI, Automattic. Crowley co-founded Dodgeball (acquired by Google in 2005) and Foursquare. Now he’s building BeeBot, an app that uses AI to tell you about the things around you as you walk through a city. Together, he and Smith will dig into the product and technical decisions behind BeeBot, where AI works in physical spaces and where it falls short, and what’s changed since Foursquare. A relaxed evening of conversation and connection for technologists, builders, and creators.Connect with technologists, researchers, and creators in a relaxed environment, followed by drinks and light bites.5:30pm ET: Doors Open6:00pm ET: Fireside chat with Dennis Crowley and Jeff Smith7:00pm-8:30pm ET: Drinks and light bites
