MosAIc Meetup

”It's not a big deal."

Sexual deepfakes, the people who make them, and the law that doesn't exist. In this talk, Ana will go through how these systems actually work, from face-swap autoencoders to latent diffusion, inpainting and LoRA. The talk will then focus on who this happens to, and what the research says about why people do it.

Finally, the law, or the little of it that exists, especially in Scotland, where it doesn't exist at all. Ana will discuss what we can do about it, and how to protect ourselves from this widespread abuse and unethical use of AI systems.

In this Meetup you will also get a chance to get hands on for a workshop exploring the topic of Deepfakes! Agenda
