Due to popular demand, a second date for this book club has been added for those who couldn't make it to the first one! If you missed the first meeting and would like to come to this second meeting to discuss the book, we have a second chance for you! Please, only sign up if you couldn't make it to the first one (due to being on the waitlist, or otherwise didn't make it), we want everyone who wants to go to be able to have the chance to go. Each month, we’ll gather at Long Dark House to discuss a vampire story centering Black characters and perspectives, from gothic horror and historical fiction to romance, speculative fiction, and stories that completely reinvent vampire lore.
Expect lively conversation about power, identity, desire, monstrosity, history, survival, and who gets to live forever.
