Real talk from producers who’ve built it, broken it, and built it again.

Nobody hands you a manual when you start a creative agency. You learn pricing by undercharging. You learn contracts by getting burned. You learn boundaries by having none.

THE PRODUCTION ROOM is a new monthly workshop series from Brave New Spaces for people who produce & create: events, videos, activations, campaigns, and more. In our first session, senior producers share the REAL stories behind building a creative business: what worked, what didn’t, and what they’d do differently.

This isn’t a lecture or a panel where you’ll be talked at. It’s a room of producers, working through real problems together.

What to expect:

Happy hour & mingling time to meet other creative producers

Grounding to open the room

Complimentary bites & drinks

Individual reflection time on your journey as a creative producer

Real stories from senior producers

Small group work on the challenges you’re facing right now

Open Q&A and discussion time

This room is for you if:

You run, or are building, your own creative business or freelance practice

You’ve been producing for a while and want peers who get it

You’re ready to be honest about what’s hard

You need support on your producer/creative journey

Featured Panelists & Facilitators:

Cecilia Apelin, Co-Founder of Ciel Creative Space & Indigo Sky Creative

JJ Jumoc-Casas, Creative Director of 8:45a

Gina Mariko Rosales, Executive Producer at Make It Mariko

Jocelyn Garibay, Facilitator, At The Center Consulting

Before you come: When you register, share one question you wish someone had answered for you when you started. We’ll bring them into the room.

What’s said in the room stays in the room. SO, GET IN THE ROOM.
