Local Hike - Kloofendal

Sole Mates is a Cashless Hiking Club. Make all ADMIN FEE payments via EFT prior to the hike. Morning Hike near Roodepoort JNB Kloofendal is a small nature reserve situated on the West Rand. It consists of pristine highveld vegetation with craggy quartzite outcrops. There is a bird hide at the small dam on the reserve and a while spent here can be well worth while. The hike will take us up and all around the mountain. The wildlife on the reserve is restricted to smaller creature but it is surprisingly varied. Many tree species have their home on the reserve.
