We’ll have a mix of casual board games and card games that are easy to learn, fun in a group, and leave plenty of space for conversation between rounds. You definitely don’t need to be a serious board-game person. Some people come because they love games, others mostly come to meet people, and plenty are just looking for an easy indoor plan for the afternoon. We’ll split into smaller tables depending on the games people want to play, switch things around throughout the afternoon, and keep the atmosphere casual rather than competitive. Board games also make meeting people a little easier: there’s always something happening at the table, so you don’t have to walk into a room and immediately make conversation from nothing.
