Does meditation really change how we think, feel and cope with stress? And how do scientists actually measure it?
As part of “Discover Heartfulness” at Hotel Amigo in Brussels on Wednesday 14 October, we host a discussion:
“Exploring the Science of Meditation”.
A clinical psychiatrist from Brussels and an integrative health researcher from India bring two perspectives to one question: what do we know today about meditation and mental well-being, and what is still to be understood? Expect clear answers, open questions and practical insights you can relate to your own life.
• Prof. Philippe de Timary, Head of Adult Psychiatry, Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc, and Professor, UCLouvain
• Dr Krishnamurthy Jayanna, Chair, Heartfulness Research Council; Director and Founder, Centre for Integrative Health and Wellbeing
Moderated by Florence de Fooz, Co-Founder, Fondation Heartfulness, FUP (Belgium).
