Want to make Japanese friends but don't know how to start a conversation? Let's practice together!
Have you ever wanted to talk to Japanese people but struggled to start a conversation, keep it going, or turn an acquaintance into a friend?
This meetup is for you!
At daijōbu club, we practice practical Japanese that helps you connect with people in everyday life in Japan. Instead of just studying grammar and vocabulary, you'll learn how to use Japanese to build friendships in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
🗣️ What will we practice?
・Introducing yourself and getting to know someone
・Starting a conversation and asking natural follow-up questions
・Talking about your hobbies, interests, and everyday life
・Finding things in common and keeping a conversation going
・Inviting someone for coffee, lunch, or another activity
・Exchanging contact information and staying in touch
・Practicing real-life conversations through pair work, group activities, and role-play
🌱 Who can join?
Anyone who wants to make friends and connect with people in Japan!
Japanese learners of different levels are welcome, including beginners. You don't need to speak perfect Japanese. You can ask questions, take your time, and use English when necessary.
This is an LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive space where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves.
