As always no knowledge of philosophy is necessary. This is a safe place for people to speak openly so you need to be able to tolerate potentially extreme and disturbing ideas/opinions that you may not agree with. An open minded attitude is all that is required You do not have to speak unless you want to. Just listening is entirely acceptable. No knowledge of philosophy is necessary.
