Breakfast Club Toastmasters | Public Speaking and Communication

Would you like to feel more confident speaking in front of others, improve your communication skills or develop your leadership abilities?
Breakfast Club Toastmasters is a friendly, welcoming club where people from different backgrounds and professions come together to learn, practise and grow. Our meetings are structured but relaxed, with plenty of encouragement and opportunities to build confidence at your own pace.
What to expect at a meeting

Prepared speeches: Practise presenting ideas clearly and confidently.
Speech evaluations: Learn how to give and receive constructive feedback.
Impromptu speaking: Think on your feet in fun, spontaneous speaking sessions.
Leadership practice: Develop skills by taking on different meeting roles.

You are welcome whether you are new to public speaking or looking to build on existing skills. You can visit, meet our members and see how it works before deciding whether to join.
When and where
We meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, from 07:30 to 09:00, at the Cape Town Athenaeum in Newlands. Arrive from 07:15 to settle in before the meeting starts.
