Join us for a relaxed morning walk through Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden!
This event is for anyone who would like to meet new people, enjoy nature, and have casual conversations in Japanese and English. Beginners in either language are welcome—there is no need to speak perfectly.
We will walk approximately 2–2.5 km through the garden at a relaxed pace, stopping occasionally to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and change conversation partners.

Schedule

10:00 — Meet outside the Shinjuku Gate
10:10 — Purchase tickets and enter the garden
10:20 — Brief introductions and start walking
11:50 — Group photo and closing
12:00 — Event ends

After the walk, anyone interested may join us for an optional café visit nearby. Food and drinks will be at each participant’s own expense.

How to find us

We will be waiting outside the Shinjuku Gate, near the information board. Please do not enter the garden before meeting the organizers.
Look for the organizers holding a Meetup sign. Please arrive by 10:00 a.m., as we will begin purchasing tickets and entering the garden at 10:10 a.m.
If you arrive late, it may be difficult to find the group after we have entered the garden.

Important information

Please purchase your own admission ticket.
We will walk at a relaxed pace, but please make sure you are comfortable walking for approximately 90 minutes.
Please be respectful of other visitors and follow the garden rules.
The event may be cancelled in case of rain or severe weather. Any cancellation announcement will be posted on the Meetup event page.

新宿御苑の自然を楽しみながら、日本語と英語で気軽に会話しませんか？
新しい人と出会いたい方、自然の中を歩きたい方、日本語や英語で会話を楽しみたい方のためのイベントです。語学力は問いません。完璧に話す必要はなく、初心者の方も歓迎します。
園内を約2～2.5km、ゆっくりと歩きます。途中で景色を楽しんだり、写真を撮ったり、会話する相手を交代したりする予定です。

新宿御苑「新宿門」の入園ゲート外側、案内看板付近でお待ちしています。オーガナイザーと合流する前に入園しないようお願いいたします。
Meetupのサインを持ったオーガナイザーをお探しください。10:10からチケット購入・入園を始めるため、10:00までにお越しください。
遅れて到着した場合、入園後のグループを見つけることが難しい可能性があります。
