Early Evening Hike: NCAR and Mesa Trail

5.0 miles RT with 900’ elevation gain

This out-and-back hike offers western views of the iconic Flatirons and Bear Peak, paired with eastern views of the rolling plains.

We’ll keep a brisk pace, averaging 2.5+ mph, and should finish with plenty of daylight – but I do recommend bringing a headlamp just in case.
