Back by popular demand, it's Soapstone Valley Autumn!
Fall foliage will be on exquisite display for this roughly five-mile, transit-accessible hike in D.C.’s own Rock Creek Park! We’ll enter the park through the Soapstone Valley Trail near the Van Ness metro station, take the Western Ridge Trail to the ruins of a Civil War-era fort, and loop back around to Soapstone Valley on the Valley Trail. The hike will wrap up at 1:00pm. Afterwards, the 20s-40s group will stop by local favorite Bread Furst for treats and hot drinks.
Hike Time: 9:30am - 1:00pm
Social Time: 1:00 - 2:30pm
Meeting location: Van Ness UDC Metro Entrance, east side
