Hello everyone! 😊

I live around Shinagawa and wanted more opportunities to speak English and meet people from different backgrounds. But I noticed there weren’t many meetups around here, so I thought, why not start one myself?

🚶‍♀️Event Overview🚶‍♀️

We’ll meet at Omorikaigan Station (大森海岸駅) at 11:00 AM and walk together to Shinagawa Kumin Park.

Once we arrive, we’ll walk around the park once or twice (approximately 2–4 km in total), depending on everyone’s energy and preference!

As we walk, let’s enjoy chatting with each other in English.

There are no prepared topics or set agenda — just relaxed, free-flowing conversations about anything that interests you. The main goal is to enjoy walking, meeting new people, and having fun conversations in English!

📍 Meeting point: Outside the ticket gates at Omorikaigan Station (大森海岸駅)

🕙 Meeting time: 11:00 AM (Finishes at 12:30 PM)

☔ Weather policy: In case of bad weather, the meetup will be canceled. Any updates will be posted here, so please check before heading out!

Participation Fee: Free

What to expect:

🌍 People from all nationalities and backgrounds are welcome.
💬 English is our main language.
☀️ Relaxed walks and outdoor hangouts.
☕ No formal lessons — just genuine conversations and new friendships!

You don’t need to be a native speaker, but being comfortable having conversations in English will help you enjoy the meetup. I’m working on my English too, so let’s learn from each other!

To ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for everyone, please follow these guidelines:

1. Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
1. No Solicitation: Religious, business, investment, or other forms of solicitation are not permitted.
1. Respect Others: Harassment, discrimination, and any behavior that makes other participants uncomfortable are not tolerated.
1. Photos & Social Media: Please obtain permission from anyone before taking or sharing photos of them on social media or other platforms.
1. Leaving Early: You are welcome to leave the event early if you feel unwell or have other personal commitments. Please let the organizer know in advance.

英語を話したり、さまざまなバックグラウンドを持つ人たちと交流したりする機会をもっと増やしたいと思っていました。でも、このあたりにはMeetupのイベントがあまりなかったので、「それなら自分で始めてみよう！」と思い、企画しました。

大森海岸駅に集合して、品川区民公園まで、そして品川区民公園内を一緒に歩きながら、英語で気軽におしゃべりしませんか？

📍 集合場所： 大森海岸駅の改札外

🕙 集合時間： 午前11時（午後12時30分終了予定）

☔ 雨天時の対応： 悪天候の場合はイベントを中止します。変更がある場合はこちらでお知らせしますので、お出かけ前にご確認ください！

💬 英語をメインに会話を楽しみます。
☀️ リラックスした雰囲気の中で、散歩や屋外での交流を楽しみましょう。
☕ 堅苦しいレッスンはありません。自然な会話を通して、新しい出会いや交流を楽しむ場です！

ネイティブスピーカーである必要はありません。ただし、英語での会話を楽しめる程度の英語力があると、より充実した時間を過ごせると思います。

私自身も英語を勉強中です。一緒に英語で交流しながら、お互いに刺激を受けられたらうれしいです！
