One simple idea: make new friends while doing something good for yourself on a weekend morning.
This is a social event first. The jog gets the conversation started, and the cafe afterwards is where the real hangout happens. Think of it as a light morning activity (ちょい朝活) — something to come back to, not a one-off.

First time joining?
🌿 Group size is capped at 6–8 so everyone actually gets to talk. That's also why spots go fast.
🌿 The jog is 1.5–2.0 km at a talking pace. Walk breaks are completely fine.
🌿 Almost everyone comes alone, and the cafe afterwards is optional.

⚠️Probably not the right fit if you:

😤 are travelling from far away and expecting a big event
😭 want a serious workout
😰 are looking for a dating scene (relaxed and friendly, but not romantic)
😵‍💫 want to meet many people in one session — attend a few instead

🌳 A real forest in the middle of Tokyo — Rinshi-no-Mori is a former forestry research site, packed with huge mature trees. It really doesn't feel like Tokyo.
☕ A cozy cafe to wind down in — Lily's Cafe is warm, friendly, and easy to stay in for an hour.

💬 Socializing is the whole point — chatty pace, no one left behind, leave with new friends.
🗣 English-friendly — host language is English, but most people speak Japanese too.

コンセプトはシンプル ── 週末の朝、心地よく体を動かしながら、新しい仲間に出会うこと。
メインは交流です。ジョギングは会話のきっかけで、本当のお楽しみは走ったあとのカフェタイム☕ 「ちょい朝活」として、毎週の習慣にしてもらえる会を目指しています。
はじめての方へ
🌿 全員がしっかり話せるよう、定員は6〜8名です。そのためすぐ満席になります。
🌿 ジョギングは1.5〜2.0km、おしゃべりできるペース。途中で歩いてもOKです。
🌿 ほとんどの方がお一人参加で、カフェタイムは自由参加です。

🌳 東京のど真ん中にある"本物の森" ── 林試の森公園は元・林業試験場。大きな木々に囲まれ、都会を忘れさせてくれる空間です。
☕ あったかい雰囲気のカフェへ ── Lily's Cafeは、こぢんまりと居心地のいいお店。1時間はあっという間です。
💬 目的はあくまで交流 ── おしゃべりできるペースで、置いていかれる心配なし。
🗣 英語フレンドリー ── ホスト言語は英語。参加者はだいたい日本語も話せます。
