Join us for a Sunday ride through the beautiful Wicklow countryside
We'll begin our journey meeting outside The Barge Pub at 9 am
We head south through the suburbs of Ranelagh, Clonskeagh and Goatstown.
As we leave the city suburbs we continue on the Enniskerry Road turning right towards Glencullen.
At Glencullen crossroads we turn right to the descent of the Pine Forest Road to Killakee Viewpoint.
Along the Military Road we reach our lunch destination of Armoury Cafe in Glencree.
After lunch we have a nice descent
to Enniskerry. From there we head back to the city through Stepaside.
Total distance of 60km with 850 metres of climbing
Newcomers to the group are very welcome but be aware that although this cycle is well within the capabilities of regular cyclists is not suitable for beginner cyclists
