Footpath to Festival, Wanstead Village: High beach, Ice Cream Vans to Rock Bands

DESCRIPTION Day hike description Join us for a scenic hike through the historic Epping Forest, via high beach ghost (a story I’ll tell on route) past a few ice cream stops, ending at Wanstead for the festival and I’ll be reserving a place in local cafe too which is opposite the free festival with music. This route takes you through ancient woodlands, serene lakes, and charming open spaces, offering a refreshing escape from the city. Wanstead Park was once home to Wanstead House, where Queen Elizabeth I is believed to have stayed. The hike finishes in Wanstead Village, a vibrant area on the Central Line, just 20 minutes from central London. COST The cost is £12 per person. for hike only. HIKE INCLUDES Guided Hike planned and led by experienced AAA leader who is Lowland leader qualified, Wilderness First Aid qualified, Summer Mountain Leader trained. If the event sells out, and you have messaged us and have changed your RSVP to 'Not going', please email us on info@aaalondongroup.com after the event date, requesting a refund, including your PayPal email address, so we can locate the payment.
