Event Details:
Looking to try padel in Tokyo or meet new people through sport? Join Tokyo Expat Social Club for two hours of casual padel at Mizumachi, right beside Tokyo Skytree. 🎾
We’ll rotate teams and opponents throughout the session, giving you opportunities to play with different people, practise your shots and chat between games. Whether you’re picking up a padel racket for the first time or returning for another TESC session, you’re welcome.

Padel combines elements of tennis and squash, with doubles played on a smaller enclosed court where the walls become part of the game. You don’t need tennis experience, a partner or a ready-made team to join.
This is a social padel session rather than a competitive tournament. We’ll explain the basics to newcomers and organise rotations so everyone has opportunities to play, with breaks between games.
Most TESC attendees come alone, including many people joining their first event.
It’s an active way to spend your Sunday afternoon, try something different and make friends in Tokyo.
