Our bar is part of a guesthouse, so travelers from around the world are already here most nights. This event brings Japanese locals and Tokyo residents into the mix for a casual evening of drinks and conversation.
No formal networking. No language-exchange rules. Just grab a drink and talk to whoever's next to you. 🍺

Coming alone? Most people do. Our staff are around all night to introduce you and get conversations started.

You don't need to speak perfect English or Japanese. The goal is simply to have a good time, enjoy some drinks, and connect with people from different backgrounds.

🍺 The venue
Hostel Bedgasm — a guesthouse and bar in Taito-ku, Tokyo. Guests, staff, and locals all end up drinking together here in the evenings, so the atmosphere is already there before the event starts.

📍 Venue: Hostel Bedgasm, Taito-ku, Tokyo — 7 min walk from Iriya Station (Hibiya Line)
🕐 Time: 19:00–23:00 (come and go as you like)
💴 Entrance: ¥1,200 (2 drinks included)

🙌 First time at a Meetup?
Just come to the bar and tell our staff "I'm here for the Meetup!" We'll introduce you to a few people from there. Stay for one drink or the whole night — up to you.

会場はゲストハウス併設のバー。普段から世界各国の旅行者が飲みに来ている場所です。そこに東京に住んでいる日本人・外国人も加わって、旅行者とローカルが自然に交流できる場所を作れたらと思っています。
ドリンクを片手に、隣の人と話す、ワイワイ盛り上がる、そんなイベントです！🍺

台東区のゲストハウス＆バー Hostel Bedgasm。世界各国の旅行者が宿泊していて、夜になると宿泊者・スタッフ・ローカルが自然にバーで飲んでいます。「小さなホステルバーで、隣にいる人と自然に話せる」、そんな雰囲気のイベントです。
