Red Kites and Ridgeway Walk

This 6-mile walk takes in the views of the Chiltern countryside. Opportunity to spot red kites, reintroduced in the area in 1989. Look out for the wide wingspan and forked tail, with chestnut red and white markings. A stretch of the Ridgeway National Trail is also included with some excellent views over the Vale of Aylesbury. There are two steep hills but both are scaled really quickly. There are also some roads and pavements. Refreshments Bring light snacks. Possible pub stop at end. Travel By car only. Follow signs for school (Church Lane, just after shop on right), park in car park opposite, nearest postcode HP14 4AZ. If car park full try village hall on main road. Start 12:30pm prompt at Church Lane Car Park, Bledlow Ridge, HP14 4AZ Cost of event is £10.
