While the crowds head to the neighboring Gabai Waterfall, your journey takes you past the final tourist outpost and straight into the wild. The only gateway to Jeram Perlus is through a remote Orang Asli (aboriginal) village. Beyond it lies a dense, primeval jungle virtually unmarred by modern civilization, walked regularly only by the local tribesmen foraging for wild fruits and tracking game.

🥾 The Expedition: Raw, Remote, and Rewarding

This is not a casual weekend stroll—it is a true jungle trek. You will push through a thick, hilly rainforest canopy across a confusing, treacherous, and deeply dense 8KM trail. The forest here is so wildly alive and remote that it is even home to Malaysia’s notorious master of the deep woods: the sun bear.
To conquer this labyrinth, we are enlisting the expert tracking skills of local Orang Asli guides to navigate the ridges and keep us safely on track.

The Trek: Moderate but physically demanding hilly hiking.
The Distance: 8KM of pure, unadulterated jungle terrain.
The Reward: An grueling 2 hours and 50 minutes of intense trekking culminating in the magnificent, roaring face of Selangor’s prettiest hidden masterpiece.
