Join us for a beautiful countryside walk starting from the White Horse at Chilgrove, heading up towards the South Downs Way with a small diversion to the Devil’s Jumps.
The route includes a long, steady climb, which is not too steep but will certainly get the heart and lungs working. As we gain height, we’ll enjoy wonderful views through the valley and across the surrounding South Downs countryside.
This is a great choice if you enjoy a longer walk with a few hills and want to build your fitness while exploring some of the most beautiful scenery Sussex has to offer.
Our walk leaders will keep the group together, with opportunities for those who want an extra challenge to stretch themselves along the way.
Please wear sturdy walking shoes or boots with good grip, as some paths may be uneven or muddy depending on the weather.
Allow approximately 2 hours for the walk, followed by the opportunity for a well-earned coffee and a chat at the White Horse.
A fantastic combination of beautiful views, a rewarding climb, fresh air and friendly company.
