Amberley Loop (Challenging)

If you enjoy a walk with some hills and a fantastic view as your reward, this is a great one to choose. This circular route includes part of the South Downs Way and takes us through beautiful downland, open fields and vineyards, with one of the most spectacular views across the South Downs. This is a hilly walk, so expect to get the heart and lungs working on the climbs. The paths can also be uneven in places, so sturdy walking shoes or boots are essential. Depending on where livestock are grazing, we may encounter cows along the route. We are very good at working with different walking speeds while keeping everyone together. Faster walkers will have opportunities to stretch themselves and work a little harder, while those who prefer a steadier pace can tackle the hills without feeling under pressure. No one gets left behind. The walk will last approximately 90–120 minutes. A fantastic choice if you want to challenge yourself a little, build your fitness and enjoy some wonderful South Downs scenery along the way. New to walking with us?
