国際文化会館では、会員間の交流等を目的とし、各界で活躍されている方をお招きした「会員特別講演会」を実施しています。
今回の会員特別講演会では、国際文化会館の神保代表理事より、AIをはじめとする先端技術の進展が国際安全保障や世界秩序に与える影響、そして激変する国際情勢の中で日本が進むべき方向性についてご講演いただきます。

神保 謙（国際文化会館常務理事、新領域戦略研究所（RAIS）共同代表、慶應義塾大学総合政策学部教授）
慶應義塾大学大学院政策・メディア研究科後期博士課程修了（政策・メディア博士）。専門は国際政治学、安全保障論、アジア太平洋の安全保障、日本の外交・防衛政策。タマサート大学（タイ）で客員教授、国立政治大学、国立台湾大学（台湾）で客員准教授、南洋工科大学（シンガポール）客員研究員を歴任。政府関係の役職として、防衛省参与、国家安全保障局顧問、外務省政策評価アドバイザリーグループ委員などを歴任。

I-House hosts Special Lectures for Members featuring distinguished practitioners from various fields to foster exchange among members. For our December lecture, we are pleased to welcome Ken Jimbo, Managing Director of the International House of Japan, who will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies on international security and the global order, as well as Japan’s path forward amid a rapidly changing international landscape.

Ken Jimbo (Managing Director, International House of Japan)
Co-director, Research Institute for Advanced Innovation and GeoStrategy (RAIS)
Ken Jimbo is a Professor at the Faculty of Policy Management, Keio University. He served as a Special Advisor to the Minister of Defense, Japan Ministry of Defense (2020) and a Senior Advisor, The National Security Secretariat (2018-20).

His main research fields are in International Security, Japan-US Security Relations, Japanese Foreign and Defense Policy, Multilateral Security in Asia-Pacific, and Regionalism in East Asia. He has been a policy advisor for various Japanese governmental commissions and research groups including for the National Security Secretariat, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His policy writings have appeared in NBR, The RAND Corporation, Stimson Center, Pacific Forum CSIS, Japan Times, Nikkei, Yomiuri, Asahi and Sankei Shimbun.
