✨ SAVE THE DATE | Boyko Mitkov – Boyo – “Confession of Love” The exhibition “Confession of Love” by contemporary Bulgarian sculptor Boyko Mitkov – Boyo will open on November 4 at 7 PM at Kuslev’s House. “Boyko Mitkov does not model bronze – he provokes it. In his hands, the metal breathes, flickers, resists, as if guarding a secret that must not be spoken. The spaces within his sculptures are not pauses, but tensions: quiet collisions between form and light, between the past and that which is yet to come. There, in the emptiness, the viewer feels a question. Not from the artist, but from the material itself. Boyko Mitkov begins each work as if it were his first – without complacency, without repetition. He enters into a dispute with the idea, with the metal, with himself. His provocation is quiet: a refusal to give ready-made answers, a refusal to decorate, a refusal to please. He works like a man who knows that art does not soothe. And in this continuous love confession to the form, something rare is born: a path that leads not outward, but inward – toward a nobler, braver, more human essence.” — Lili di Mova 🎶 The opening ceremony will be graced by the performance of Dr. Ivan Georgiev, a prominent Bulgarian artist, bagpipe virtuoso, and internationally recognized concert performer. Through his performance, he will present the richness of the Bulgarian musical tradition, to which he has dedicated decades of artistic and pedagogical work. The exhibition will run until November 27, 2026. Welcome!
