Thursday, Oct 22 – Banjo Night (7–9 PM) Public House Bangkok, Sukhumvit 31 Join us for an intimate night with award-winning banjo players in a private room high above Bangkok at Public House. With 20 guests, city views and the musicians a few steps away, it feels like a private musical house party. Two hours of free-flow drinks are included. Featuring Tray Wellington, Tatsuya Kuwabara, Cameron Mather and Luke Coffey. Expect top musicians from different parts of the world meeting and playing together for the first time, creating spontaneous collaborations and rare combinations in an intimate Penthouse overlooking the Bangkok skyline. Tonight’s theme: Tray Wellington Brings the Music of Doc Watson to Thailand North Carolina banjo player Tray Wellington is joined by Tatsuya Kuwabara of Japan’s Bluegrass Police for an evening of tunes, stories and five-string banjo. FAQ Can I bring my banjo? Yes. Players and learners are welcome to bring their banjo. This is a listening concert, but there will be time afterwards to meet the musicians, ask questions and talk about the instrument. Can children attend? This is a small evening listening event with free-flow drinks and is not recommended for children. Alcoholic drinks will only be served to guests aged 20 or over.
