Language exchange ～ Topic Sugoroku Edition～

🌍 Japanese × English Global Exchange

🎲 Topic Sugoroku Edition

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Want to enjoy speaking Japanese and English through a fun board game?

In this session, we'll play Topic Sugoroku, a conversation-based game where each square has a different topic or a useful phrase to try!

As you move along the board, you'll land on different squares and challenge yourself to talk about the given topic while using the designated expressions.

You might be asked to share your experiences, express your opinions, or try using a new English or Japanese phrase.

There are no right or wrong answers! Just enjoy talking, learning new expressions, and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

📋 How It Works

① Welcome (13:45–14:00)

Arranging groups, introducing yourself, and answering a simple icebreaker question.

② Topic Sugoroku Introduction (14:00–14:10)

We'll introduce the rules and explain how to play Topic Sugoroku.

Each square has a conversation topic or a phrase to use. We'll go through some useful expressions and examples together before starting the game.

③ Topic Sugoroku & Group Conversations (14:10–15:40)

Roll the dice, move along the board, and start talking!

Each time you land on a square, challenge yourself to talk about its topic while following the given instructions or using the designated phrase.

Share your opinions, experiences, and perspectives with your group. Help each other out and enjoy communicating in both English and Japanese!

④ Wrap-up (15:40–15:45)

Reflect on today's conversations and share what you learned or enjoyed.
