Every scroll makes us a little easier to steer. If frictionless is the goal, friction is the answer. In electronics, that friction has a name: impedance, the force that keeps a current from flowing freely. Part of it blocks, part of it pushes back, and the part that pushes back is called reactance. Psychologists use the same word for what you feel when someone tries to control your choices. You refuse. This night is our impedance. A room full of real bodies, harsh noise, experimental sounds and broken electronics, with Fluxus-inspired performances where anyone can take part.
