Living with a roommate is an opportunity to build communication, compromise, and community skills that make shared living more successful. Join us to learn practical strategies for communicating your needs, navigating disagreements, understanding different conflict styles, and creating a positive living environment. Through interactive activities and real-life scenarios, you’ll gain the tools to build a respectful, supportive, and successful roommate relationship. Workshop 2: Mount Vernon Campus Across three interactive sessions, you'll explore: Session 1: Understanding Roommate & Suitemate Conflict and Conflict & Personal Styles (October 19th) Session 2: Communication, Listening & De-escalation (October 26th) Session 3: Problem-Solving, Compromise & Roommate Scenarios (November 2nd) This session is number 1 of 3, offered twice during the fall semester. If you register for the first session, please plan to attend all three sessions. Can't make all three sessions on one campus? That's okay! You can mix and match between the two workshops on Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon to complete all three sessions. We hope you'll join us for the Roommate & Suitemate Success Series and invest in making your shared space a place where everyone can thrive! --- Event Details: https://revconnect.gwu.edu/rsvp?id=376562
